What You’ll Do
As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be the driving force behind the systems and processes that keep our technology running seamlessly. You will architect and manage scalable cloud infrastructure, design and implement secure and efficient CI/CD pipelines, and automate workflows to reduce manual effort and accelerate delivery. This role demands hands-on expertise in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP), container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes), and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Ansible), with a strong focus on security, performance, and reliability. You will work closely with developers, QA engineers, and IT operations to ensure smooth deployments, robust monitoring, and rapid incident resolution. Your day-to-day will involve optimizing system performance, setting up proactive alerting and logging, enforcing best practices, and guiding the team in adopting new tools and technologies. Beyond technical execution, you will act as a mentor to junior engineers, helping them grow in automation, infrastructure management, and DevOps culture. This position is ideal for someone who thrives on solving complex infrastructure challenges, has a passion for building scalable and resilient systems, and wants to have a significant impact on how products are delivered to customers.
Job Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 5+ years in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or a related role, with proven experience managing large-scale, production-grade systems.
- Cloud Expertise: Strong hands-on knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP, including compute, storage, networking, and security services.
- Containerization: Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes for building, deploying, and managing containerized applications.
- Infrastructure-as-Code: Experience with Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools for automating infrastructure provisioning and configuration.
- CI/CD: Expertise in designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
- Monitoring & Logging: Familiarity with tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK stacks, or Datadog for performance monitoring and alerting.
- Security: Knowledge of security best practices for infrastructure, applications, and data.
Scripting: Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, or similar languages for automation tasks. - Collaboration: Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and mentor junior team members.
